Frank Njoro

Co-Founder & Executive Director, Futures Infinite

Bold Question: What if every child had access to technology that builds digital skills to thrive in the 21st century?

Pathway to Metis: Frank Njoro is a committed social impact leader driving digital literacy and STEM education across underserved communities in Kenya. Frank co-designed and leads the Junior CodeCraft (JCC) program—a groundbreaking initiative that introduces foundational coding and computing skills to learners in rural primary and junior secondary schools.

In partnership with the County Government of Vihiga, Frank has successfully overseen the countywide rollout of JCC, training over 200 teachers and reaching more than 3,000 students. The program empowers schools to run weekly Code Clubs using creative tools such as Scratch and Pico boards, while also investing in teacher capacity to ensure sustainable impact.

Frank is spearheading JCC’s 2025 expansion to an additional 150 schools, aiming to train 300 more teachers and reach over 4,500 new learners. This growth represents a major step toward equitable access to technology in Kenya’s education system.

Starting January 2026, Futures Infinite will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Raspberry Pi Foundation’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC)-aligned Computing Curriculum for learners aged 5–16. The rollout across the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB) is set to expand access to inclusive, high-quality computing education throughout Western and Nyanza.

Frank is a strong candidate for international development fellowships, recognized for their visionary, community-driven approach to scaling education technology for lasting social change.
