Hi, I’m Sara!

An aphorism I standby is "It costs a candle nothing to light another candle". That is what storytelling is to me, a series of inspiring flames from one person to the next. I have been a teacher for the past 12 years and have had the opportunity to work with learners from different parts of Kenya and have shared their stories along the way bringing new light to learners from different backgrounds.

At Metis, my role is to seek and share stories of learning and impact, to amplify the stories of those who dare to incite, activate and propel reform in education across our country I hope that many flames are lit and that the fire that sparks a change in all of us burns brightly.
