Richard Bikko

Hi, I'm Richy!

I have over a decade of experience working in peacebuilding and community development focusing on restorative justice, trauma healing and leadership development. My initial work experiences gave me a deeper understanding of the liberating and transformative power of education and informal learning.

Prior to joining Metis, I worked as the Program Lead at Global Minimum Inc. where I provided opportunities for youth in Africa to unleash their innovative and problem-solving skills through design-thinking and project-based learning. Driven by a strong resolve to create a more just-peace world, I pursued a B.A. degree in Justice, Peace & Conflict Studies (Peace & Development) from Eastern Mennonite University.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing football, taking nature walks and dancing to Afro-Latin music!
